Welcome to the BHS Guidance Department!





Financial Aid Night will be held on Monday, September 25th, at 6:00 pm

in the BHS Veterans' Memorial Auditorium.  A representative from the Massachusetts

Educational Financing Authority (MEFA) will cover the types and sources of financial aid,

the application process, how financial aid decisions are made, paying for college,

and free resources.  All are welcome to attend this free seminar.

The PSAT exam will be given on Saturday, October 14th, from 7:30 am to 12:00 noon here at BHS. Juniors may begin registering for the PSAT exam in the Guidance Office on Monday, September 11th. All juniors planning to further their education are encouraged to register as soon as possible to take the PSAT exam as sophomores may begin registering on Monday, September 25th. The final deadline for all registrations is Friday, October 6th. A $20.00 CASH fee is due at the time of registration – a receipt will be provided. Space is limited so remember to sign up early!

If you are a graduate of BHS/attended BHS

and you need a copy of your transcript,

you can either (1) call the BHS Guidance Office at

413-323-9351 or (2) email the Administrative

Assistant at

You must provide your name (clearly spelled), 

your graduation year or years of attendance, the complete

address of where you would like your transcript sent,

and a telephone number where you can be reached

(in case further information is needed).  





The following documents are required to register a new student at BHS:


Birth Certificate

Custody/Guardianship Documentation (if applicable)

Current Physical Exam (less than a year old)

Immunization Records

Two (2) Forms of Proof of Residence

Transcript of Grades

Grades-to-Date of Leaving

Discipline Record

Attendance Record

MCAS/Standardized Test Results

Special Education Records (if applicable)
