3. This will be the last week to purchase the Magical Night of Giving Tickets for the Holyoke Mall Shopping Night on Sunday, November 23rd. Tickets are $5 each. All money raised for this event will go directly to our Student Services account.

4. 5. There will be an assembly for the Class of 2009 on Thursday, November 20th during B and C-Periods in the Veterans’ Memorial Auditorium. Students are to report to their B-Period class for attendance.

6. Special thanks to Ms. Vaz and the Student Council for organizing the Veterans’ Day Assembly and the assembly with Mr. Anastas.

7. Congratulations to Emily Thornton, Colleen Grady, Beau Bensch, Nicole Dufresne, Grace Nauman, Cara Fuller, and Brett Overgaard on their induction to the Tri-M National Music Honor Society. Congratulations to Mrs. Boysen on being inducted as an honorary member.

8. 9. Congratulations to all of our fall student athletes on their successful seasons. Special congratulations to the Girls’ Volleyball Team, the Girls’ Soccer Team and the Girls’ Cross Country Team on their participation in post season tournament action. Special congratulations to Taylor Lewis, Madison Granger, and Savannah Bernardin on their participation in the State Cross Country Tournament. Special thanks to our coaches, our athletic director, our parents, and our fans for the support throughout the fall. Our student-athletes would not be able to experience this success without your support.

10. The area food pantries need Belchertown High School’s help. The Class of 2011 is sponsoring a school-wide competition between the classes of 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012. To help your class win, please bring in a non-perishable food item to Mrs. Swiatlowski’s room – 329 and put it in your class box.

11. There will be an informational meeting regarding Project Runway on Wednesday, November 19th in room 220 at 2:15pm.

12. The Weight Room will close at 3:30pm every day. Students must leave the building at that time.

13. Attention potential swim team members – there will be a pre-season meeting Tuesday immediately following school in the gymnasium.
