Attendance Policy
Students with an excused (including illness) or unexcused absence from school will not be permitted to practice or play on the day of the absence. Students athletes must be present and in class for the entire school day (i.e., from 7:45 a.m. to 2:10 p.m.) in order to be eligible to participate in a practice or contest. Students attending morning practice sessions are expected to arrive at school on time and to remain in school for the entire day. Exceptions (e.g., medical appointments, bereavements) to these policies can only be made by the principal PRIOR to the student's absence. Students who violate this rule may be subject to disciplinary action.
